Sheesh … what a year

This year three couples very close and special to me have split-up. To be exact, one divorce became final (but the war continues), one couple’s war has just become public (GREAT surprise to me and others) and the third has apparently arrived at a ‘quiet dissolve’.

I feel selfish posting this. These tragedies aren’t about me,

but all three …
are painful to me
bruise my heart & soul
remind me to ponder what is important
remind me how rare my own sweet soul mate is
remind me how much love they gave me

My friends, please know my love for each of you is deep.
