Snapshots – Shift-Command-4

Use Shift-Command-4 to make a snapshot. The cursor will change to a cross-hare. Click in upper left of a region, hold the mouse and drag to lower right, making a shaded box. When you release in the lower right it will create a file on the desktop named Picture 1.png, double-click that file to see your screen shot. Rename it appropriately (or the next snapshot will be Picture 2.png, etc).
